First Announcement for WAC 2004 (ISSCI)
http://www.www.wacong.org
The organizing Committee is pleased to invite you
to submit papers to and attend the international World Automation
Congress 2004 on ISSCI in Seville, June 28 - July 1, 2004. ISSCI
– the 5th International Symposium on Soft Computing for
Industry with applications of financial engineering – aims
to bring together scientists, developers and users of hard- and
software applications in which the principles of computational
intelligence techniques are involved. By providing a number of
themed tracks (both fundamental themes and application areas),
the Programme Committee has attempted to provide foci for scientific
contributions while offering an opportunity to the participants
to engage in stimulating discussions with colleagues who may have
quite different application frames of reference.
Furthermore papers are requested dealing with Soft
Computing methods in Business Information Systems and Business
Informatics as a special track within
the conference.
As the capital of Andalusia, Seville, possesses
a high number of world-class conference facilities, communication
infrastructures and hotels. Seville is also an ideal place for
sightseeing. Its rich cultures and historical attractions such
as the Giralda, the Alcazar, the Cathedral and the Barrio Santa
Cruz will provide unique experiences for social activities.
Topics:
We solicit papers on theoretical issues and their
applications related to Soft Computing Methods. Suggested topics
include but are not limited to Theory and Software/Hardware Implementations
of soft-computing techniques such as
Neural Nets,
Fuzzy Systems,
Fuzzy-Neural Systems,
Evolutionary Systems
and all kinds of R&D, industrial, medical or
financial applications.
